Cinema encapsulates everything this world dishes out; the mundane, the grandiose, and then Cinema has remained the greatest of mankind’s artistic abilities.

We at NEZ International Film Festival have regarded Cinema as religion, no less We are proud to have covered 10 tumultuous years of pure cinema. Our motto “let cinema endure”.

NEZ Magic Lantern

Magic Lantern Film Festival is a unique Film festival that celebrates the best of European cinema. It only accepts European Cinema. Into its second year, the first edition showcased Cannes and Berlin and Oscar awarded movies from top rated Directors of European cinema fraternity. Magic lantern Film Festival is part of NEZ Foundation that also conducts the highly popular decade old NEZ INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL. It accepts all formats of cinema, short, feature length, documentaries and smart phone shot cinema.

At the 10th edition of NEZ INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL, I am surrounded by memories of times bygone, good and bad, the passing away of my mother, and yet the strength to be there and be part of the festival comes from the thought that the show must go on ‘. In the end we are just cinema, some made, mostly unmade. --SRS

Awardee for 10 th NIFF

NIFF Infinite Vista is the representation of Higher Truth. Infinite Vistas means literally many paths; for me however it stands for unification of all higher energies to produce the exalted moments of supreme creation. We, at NEZ and NIFF, shall endeavor in recognition of exalted moments and try honouring them. Out of this philosophy is born Infinite Vistas. The Philosophy shall be existent as long as NEZ exists.

B.N. Sirkar Award

Sri B. N. Sirkar was an Indian Film Priducer and founder of New Theatres Calcutta. He is PIONEER in cinema.
We at NEZ INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL wish to honor Producers who are different from the rest of their tribe by awarding them B.N. Sirkar Award.

Hiralal Sen Award

Hiralal Sen is generally considerd one of Indian’s first filmmakers.
He is PIONEER, We award Filmmakers/Directors who chose to make unconventional movies by awarding them Hiralal Sen Award.

Fatma Begam Award

The First Female Director of Indian Cinema.
We at NEZ INTERNATIOPNAL FILM FESTIVAL wish to honor Female Film Director who have made an extra ordinary contribution to Indian Cinema by awarding them Fatma Begam Award.
